Today’s Photograph of the Day is a bit unusual for me. It is primarily a black & white with the point of interest in color. This concept was all the rage some years ago in wedding video. Usually the flowers were left in color while the rest was black and white. Occasionally the bride’s lips were all that remained in full color. For this photograph, the red cooler against the white snow is much more dramatic with everything else stark black and white. There are apple orchards all around me. My neck of the woods is called “Apple Valley”, so it’s really not hard to find an apple orchard (or apples). I was out during the first snow of the season and saw this overturned boat in the middle of an old apple orchard.
