Back to landscape panoramas today. This is a pretty amazing sunrise on Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park. I’m prety sure that this was at Tunnel Overlook, what really caught my eye here was the silhouettes of the trees against the yellows of the sunrise, the heavy clouds added a lot dram to the composition.
Don’t forget that we’ll be at the Dulles Expo Center this weekend with Craftmens...

An other addition for your kitchen or restaurant. This panorama can be ordered in either landscape orientation as seen here, or in portrait orientation by request. As always, this photograph is printed with pigment inks on a museum grade poly-cotton canvas, coated with an acrylic UV protective coating, stretched on pine stretcher bars using stainless steel staples, wired and ready to hang. Rated for over 100 years of fade resistance, this canvas can be wiped clean with a soft cloth and plain...

One more waterfall added to my collection of portrait orientation panoramas. This one is Ramsey Cascades in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. When the water is flowing, this waterfall is incredible. The trail to Ramsey Cascades is rated as the most difficult waterfall trails in the Smokys. Today’s Photograph of the Day is sunrise near the Garden City Pier in South Carolina. There are additional photographs of the Garden City Pier on my website.
Normally I like to photograph beaches in the winter when the colors are brilliant and the crowds are minimal. This sunrise was photographed in August, and when I first arrived at the beach, there were only one or two people searching for shells. I had photographed the pier from several angles just before sunrise until the first rays of the sun were breaking over the horizon. The heavy clouds building on the horizon meant that I might be...

This portrait (vertical) panorama is at sunrise on the Promenade in Havre de Grace, MD. There are some additional photographs of the same tree from the same location in the Trees & Trails Gallery on my website. These are in a 2×3 format rather than a panoramic format, and will combine well with this panorama.
Havre de Grace Panorama (C0395) is the Photograph of the Day and is available in 8×21, 13×36, and 20×54 sizes. Visit my website for pricing and to place an...
