While I was verifying some files today, I noticed that I had neglected to add some images to my website. The first is Narragansett Sunrise. This one is the companion to the portrait version D1247.
This one is sunrise at Surfside Pier in South Carolina.
This is Garden City Pier, which is also in South Carolina.
And the last one for this post is another sunrise at Garden City Pier.
I’m sure I’ve missed a few more along the way, so I’ll post them as I find...

From time to time, I will post an installation idea or concept. Each of these ideas should be a starting point for your imagination to take over. If you would like to see a different set of images for any the installation concepts, send an email to charles@cehullphotography.com with the edition numbers and relative positions (left, right, center…), and I will put together a custom image for you. If you would rather share your idea with others, make your request in the comments form, and I will post the image later in the week.
Today’s installation has a 24×36 canvas in the center with...

Rainbow Falls is an 80 foot high waterfall in the Smoky Mountains. If you get there late afternoon, you may see a rainbow formed in the mist that surrounds the falls. You can also see a “moonbow” if you get there after civil twilight and before civil sunrise, and when the full moon is in the correct position. Obviously this is much more difficult than getting there for a rainbow. The hike to Rainbow Falls is about 5.4 miles round-trip, with a 1,500 foot rise over the 2.7 mile distance. It is a moderate hike, but well worth the time if there has been a good deal of rain.
This is the first...

After yesterday’s post about Nauset Light, I thought today would be good day to post Nauset Beach Sunrise Panorama. There were a fair number of people there for sunrise, even though it was cold and windy. Those who came just to watch stayed in their cars. The rest of us were out in the cold. There were rumors of an Ivory Gull in the area, so there were a number of photographers and bird watchers there as well, hoping for a sighting. They settled for a great sunrise.
This panorama is from the same morning as the Nauset Beach Sunrise that I had posted on January 19, 2010. That one was in a...
